About the Board of Directors Award

To reward those local leagues whose Board of Directors strive to operate their league to the Little League guidelines, as well as their continued support and participation in District 49 activities, we have established an Outstanding Board of Directors Award. The award shall be perpetual and awarded to the Board of Directors of the winning leagues at one of the local league meetings. The points earned by a local league roll over at the end of the year (to ensure that every league will eventually have an opportunity to earn the award). When a league wins the award they will start the next season off with no points.
