MEMBERS EMERITUS

Any person may be elected as a Member Emeritus by the unanimous vote of all Regular Members present at any duly held meeting of the District, but shall have no rights, duties, or obligations in the management or in the property of the District.

In District 49, we recognize those individuals who have assisted the District in maintaining it's goals and objectives. Individuals who are elected as Members Emeritus are of the highest volunteers in District 49.

John Marlborough
John was a volunteer in numerous Little League programs in the High Desert during his 30+ years. He was a League President for Victorville National LL (now part of Spring Valley Lake LL) and was the first President when Victorville Ribbons LL was established. John also umpired in numerous leagues throughout the High Desert. John joined the District Staff in 2014 and served as an Area Coordinator. John and his wife moved out of state and he had to step down from his position on staff. John was elected as a Member Emeritus in 2021.

Victor Trujillo
 Victor was a volunteer with Victorville Ribbons LL, eventually serving as League President for five years, starting in 2008. In 2012, Victor became a leader in the District and mentor to many new volunteers in the program throughout the High Desert. Victor was selected as the Assistant District Administrator for District 49 upon the election of Martin Hoover as DA. Victor served in that capacity until 2020, when he moved out of state. He served one year as Public Relations Coordinator. Victor was elected as a Member Emeritus in 2022.
